Responsibilities:

    • Prepare complex tax returns with minimal errors
    • Review tax returns prepared by staff
    • Assist with tax audits
    • Serve as the primary contact for clients
    • Write articles for publications
    • Identify opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of the Firm
    • Support the development of staff by providing on the job training and constructive feedback
    • Participate in the Firm’s mentor program

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years tax experience in public accounting
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting

We are currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall client engagement and risk management process
  • Assume ownership of the day-to-day engagement activities
  • Ensure job planning, execution, documentation, deliverables and completion are done in accordance with Firm policies and professional standards
  • Serve as the primary contact for the client as well as prepare and deliver presentations to existing and potential clients
  • Manage risk to ensure work product and overall engagements are meeting quality control and professional standards
  • Monitor budgets and understands commercial aspects of client engagements such as billings and collections
  • Assists partner in billing and collection processes
  • Identify opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of the Firm
  • Coach and motivate staff

 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years independent audit experience in public accounting
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • Licensed CPA
  • Employee Benefit Plan experience preferred
  • Sound GAAP and GAAS knowledge
  • Deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards
  • Experience with accounting software, ProSystem FX Engagement and ProSystem FX Tax preferred

We are currently seeking experienced Audit Seniors to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day to day activities of financial statement audits, reviews, compilations and special projects
  • Manage client engagements from start to finish, including managing the budget, planning, executing, directing staff and completing financial statements and audits
  • Take complete ownership of specific aspects of engagements and see them through to completion
  • Prepare and review workpapers for accuracy and completeness
  • Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters, with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy
  • Ensure books and financials are in accordance with GAAP or other required accounting standards
  • Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards and client confidentiality
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Identify and communicate technical matters to both clients and senior leaders
  • Perform research
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Mentor, train and supervise staff
  • Attend industry and networking events

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years independent audit experience in public accounting
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA certification or in the process of obtaining CPA certification
  • Knowledge of auditing/tax standards to effectively supervise staff and solve routine engagement problem
  • Deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards
  • Experience with accounting software, ProSystem FX Engagement and ProSystem FX Tax preferred
  • Effective communication, research, analytical and writing skills
