Jill K. Gunzel CPA
Ms. Gunzel began her career in accounting with AVZ in 1999 and was promoted to manager in 2005. She works on numerous accounting, auditing and tax engagements, but primarily services governmental and not-for-profit entities.
Ms. Gunzel assists her clients with accounting systems and controls, budgeting and planning and guides them through the compliance requirements of Federal, State and other regulatory agencies. Ms. Gunzel specializes in the preparation of governmental financial statements, particularly Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports.
Ms. Gunzel holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration - Accounting from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and the Government Finance Officers’ Association (GFOA).
