Mr. Mattern has over 26 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing and taxation. He developed a niche in construction and real estate, real property holding, and not-for-profit accounting, auditing and taxation. In addition, Mr. Mattern also assists with governmental services, planning, management advisory services and tax needs for manufacturing, environmental and software engineering companies, professional services firms and other closely held companies. He has broad-based experience in auditing, accounting and taxation, and provides business advisory services, business succession planning, and consulting to high net-worth individuals.  Mr. Mattern is also responsible for quality control policies and procedures.

Mr. Mattern holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Hofstra University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He is Past-Chairperson of the Real Estate/Construction Contractors Committee for the Suffolk Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, currently serves as the Finance Committee Chair on the Board of Directors of Airmid Theatre Company, a Fiduciary Board Member of Contractors for Kids and also belongs to not-for-profit community organizations. Mr. Mattern is a registered representative who has passed the FINRA Series 7 and NASAA Series 66 exams.  He also holds a New York State Life and Health Insurance License.
