Ms. Van Gelder began her career in public accounting with a small Long Island-based firm. She joined AVZ in July 2003 and was promoted to supervisor in 2008.

Ms. Van Gelder is an accounting and auditing supervisor with over 10 years of industry experience. She is involved in the planning and supervision of various auditing and review engagements. Her clients include various local municipalities, non-profit organizations and small businesses.

Ms. Van Gelder holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Villanova University in Villanova, PA. Ms. Van Gelder's professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
