admitted as Partner.  Mr. Posner has 18 years of experience 17 of which are with the Firm. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and on the Banking Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Posner began his career in public accounting with a small firm in Jericho and joined AVZ in 1994. He was promoted to Principal in 2006. He services a diversified industry base; however, Mr. Posner offers business advice primarily to services based industries including financial institutions, construction contractors, advertising agencies and not-for-profit organizations. During his career he has obtained sound knowledge of loan portfolios for financial institutions and has assisted his clients with strategic business planning as well as succession planning. In addition, Mr. Posner provides guidance to business owners regarding retirement issues and benefits, corporate and individual tax planning, and also offers auditing and management advisory services.

Mr. Posner holds a Bachelor’s Degree, with Honors in Accounting from C.W. Post University.  He also is very active in his community and coaches Larkfield Little League.
