AVZ Wins Workplace Flexibility Award for the Third TimeFriday, September 25, 2009
Albrecht, Viggiano, Zureck & Co., P.C. has been selected as a winner of the 2009 Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility on Long Island for the third time. This prestigious award recognizes employers that are successfully using workplace flexibility to meet both employer and employee goals. The scoring process is rigorous. First, employer responses are measured against national data from Families and Work Institute’s National Study of Employers. As a winner, AVZ ranks in the top 20% --the 80th percentile – of employers nationally in terms of flexible work programs, policies and culture. In addition, what makes this honor so special is that our employer responses have also been corroborated by our employees. The National Association of Mother Centers (NAMC) will recognize AVZ as a Sloan Award winner at the 14th Annual NAMC Work/Life Conference being held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury on Friday, November 6th.
