HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK–Albrecht, Viggiano, Zureck & Company, P.C. (AVZ) is pleased to announce that Thomas J. Murray (Sayville) Managing Partner, has been appointed Worldwide Chairman of BKR International. BKR International, of which AVZ is a member, is a worldwide consortium of accounting and business advisory firms.
Ranked by the International Accounting Bulletin in the top 20 global associations, BKR International represents the combined expertise of more than 137 member firms with 300 offices in over 60 countries around the world. In the fall, Mr. Murray will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii to attend the Annual Worldwide meeting. In the past, Mr. Murray has served as Chairman of the Americas Region, Worldwide Vice Chairman and Treasurer.
He hopes his new position will help to strengthen AVZ's ties with member firms around the globe.
